AIRBUS A300 CONTROL PANEL FOR FS2002 PRO

VERSION 1 2/03/02

This panel was inspired by the original A300 Panel made by Benoît Gaurant. We both could not figure out how to get his original autopilot gauge to work in FS2002 so I put in a different one. I re did the the background bmp somewhat. Users of the original panel will noticed the additions and subtractions. Hold overs from the original panel are the overhead panel with the adition of a beacon switch. The throttle I felt was also important to keep this original design. The original panel was and is listed as FREEWARE with the original authors copyrights on his designs. The gauge contributers also retain their individual copyrights. To my knowledge this is the first and only Airbus A300 Panel for FS2002 so I expect future panels and modifications to my design. They are all welcome. Keep in mind the original auhors wishes and copyrights as well as my own which will be listed later in this document.

INSTALLATION

1.Extract to a temporary folder and copy and paste from there.
2.Copy all gauges to your main FS2002 Gauge folder over writing when asked.
3.Copy all bmp's and the panel cfg to the panel folder of your Airbus A300 Aircraft
That should be it pilots.

NOTE:A few minor issues I have yet to figure out. The overhead panel bmp is the incorrect size. I adjusted over and over again and it keeps returning to the original size. The same is true with the throttle bmp. However, I leftboth visible at start up and they are resizeable as are the radio, gps, and engine start panel. The engine start panel can be viewed by either using the drop down widows in the menu bar or there is a hidden click point on the far left of the overhead panel. The radio stack is the default 737-400 version. I will change this when I design a better version so don't hold your breath in other words. Finally the Pilot Heat is located ont eh Engine Start Panel to the right of the DE-ICE Switch UP is OFF and DOWN is ON.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I used cfgedit as much as I could since it is not compatable with FS2002 yet.
The gauges were found at SurClaro and were declared freeware. Well there are too many people to thank but most importantly I would like to thank Benoît Gaurant and his Gauge Designers for the original vision and hard work. My usual aircraft panel tester Larry Hart who suggested I start making my own panels. Jason Rivard my HUB Manager at UPSVAC who will be a big user of this panel I hope. Basically all the piloits at UPSVAC http://upsvac.tripod.com/Home.html who will benifit the most with this panel and finally my wife for saying "Hey you forgot this gauge!"
